Vera's work explores the relationship between the materiality of a surface and its function as a carrier of image. Intuitive sequences of process transform a "ground" and blur the boundaries between drawing, sculpture and painting. Vera teaches at Bristol School of Art and is currently course leader for the BA (Hons) Fine Art.
