Lucy's drawing practice centres on using the process of drawing as a conceptual tool to investigate and understand the everyday. Her work explores the territory shared by mathematical systems of pattern construction, the philosophical work of Lefebvre's Rhythmanalysis and in Deleuze's Difference and Repetition by rendering repetitive activity as surface pattern.

Lucy is Senior Lecturer in Drawing and Print at UWE, Bristol.

Lucy is a member of DRAW, and a co-convenor of the Cube Drawing Club.

Lucy is a Drawing Associate of the Big Draw, and runs the Drawing Resource Exchange series.
